OUR STORY

We met in Mississippi...

Back in 2014, we sat in the same room in a digital production class at The University of Southern Miss for only one week before our classes were changed. We would never meet each other, but in 2016 God decided it was time to reunite us. Hannah would hear about an internship within the Football program from her friend and take a chance of getting some job experience.

Michael knew immediately...

From the first second Michael asked Hannah to dinner, he knew he was with someone he’d spend the rest of his life with. Hannah had never introduced a guy she was dating to her family, but only after a few weeks we took the hour and half drive to the gulf coast for dinner with Hannah’s parents (we may have taken a few laps around Downtown Ocean Springs to settle nerves). A few short weeks later, Hannah was on a plane to Wisconsin for New Years to meet family. She had never seen snow, Wisconsin would fail us with no snow that year.

FALLING IN LOVE

Fast and easy...

Love came over our time exploring the world together. In spring 2017 Michael would get an offer to go to Texas A&M Football and off he headed to Texas. After graduation Hannah would also be headed to the Lone Star State to start her career in Dallas. FaceTime made long distance seem short, but after 8 months Michael was headed to Dallas with his cat Leo to launch the next chapter of his career. Now in the same city, we added another new member to the family, an 8-week old German Shepard, Maverick. Ready for the commitment of a lifetime, Michael gave Hannah a trip to Malibu for Christmas.

Will you marry me?

Knowing he was ready to come home to Hannah everyday Michael planned a secret proposal trip to California as Hannah had never been but she always wanted to. She thought it was just a Christmas gift, little did she know packed in Michael’s suitcase was the ring he’d spent months picking out. On the first day of the trip, we headed north on the PCH to go hiking in Malibu. On a cliff overlooking the ocean, the words “Will You Marry Me” were spoken.

Forever and ever…

We headed back home to Dallas to celebrate with our family who traveled in knowing what the trip was really for. Knowing we wanted to take every stage slow, we took our time when it came to wedding planning. Now on May 2nd of 2020 we are ready to write Chapter One of our forever.
